Tasmania [Hobart]
formed in 1997

M.S.I. Formed in 1997 in Hobart, Tasmania, a small southern state of Australia. The band consisted of members of other Tassie metal acts such as Baalphegor, Krucifor and Azimuth. They had initially intended to be a slow, doomy affair without any fast blasting beats or grindy guitars but as the songwriting process continues, a more extreme approach was sought.
