Tasmania [Hobart]
formed in 2004

Progressive Power/Heavy Metal. Maverick show strong influences from bands such as : Dream Theatre, Iced Earth, Metallica, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, Grave Digger, and Iron maiden (to name a few). Notably, they won the Battle Of The Bands in 2004, and competed in the Tas Rock Challenge in the same year as well.
